The UDR Long Service (Volunteers) Medal (full size). Awarded to part time officers and men of the UDR who have 12 years continuous service since 1st April 1970. bars are awarded for each additional 6 years served. This medal ceased on 1st April 1980 when it was replaced by the Northern Ireland Home Service Medal.
