King Charles III Royal Navy Long Service Miniature Medal

The King Charles Long Service Royal Navy Medal. Issued to individuals who display exemplary conduct for a minimum of 15 years, with further recognition in the form of award bars for every additional 10 years of service. This CIIIR medal has been granted to all those who qualify from October 1st, 2023 onward. In 2016, the eligibility was extended to Commissioned officers serving on or after July 29th, 2014, with amended requirements also applying to OR's beginning October 1st, 2016. All recipients must have maintained a record of good conduct for at least 15 years since the date of any previous offenses that would have precluded them from receiving the Long Service Good Conduct medal. Bars may now be awarded for each subsequent 10-year period. However, this change is not retroactive.
