The WW1 Memorial Plaque - also known as the Death Penny or Dead Mans Penny - was awarded to personnel killed as a result of war. Over 1.3 Million World War One Memorial Plaques were issued. Plaques were awarded to the next of kin of those killed in action. Our replica Memorial Plaque will be engraved and includes a reproduction of the Memorial Scroll (supplied separately, not included in the frame) and is framed in a handmade dark wood frame.

Your plaque will be engraved with the same details as the originals, please note that the plaques were named with just Christian or forenames and surname, no rank, number or unit was shown.
