Introduced following changes to the relevant long service award provisions in 2022, the 40 Year Bar provides additional recognition for personnel who have completed four decades of qualifying service.

This full size version is designed for use with the corresponding full size long service medal and features the inscription:

The 40 Year Full Size Bar is available for qualifying long service awards associated with:
