The China Medal 1900 Miniature Medal is a faithful reproduction of the campaign medal awarded for service during the Boxer Rebellion and subsequent China Expedition of 1900.

Instituted in 1901, the medal recognised British and Imperial military personnel who served during one of the most significant international military operations of the late Victorian era.

The Boxer Rebellion saw anti-foreign forces besiege the international diplomatic community in Pekin (Beijing). British, Indian and Allied forces formed part of the multinational expedition that relieved the besieged legations and restored order in northern China.

This high-quality miniature medal faithfully reproduces the original design and ribbon and is ideal for mess dress wear, collectors, family historians and display purposes.

The medal was issued both plain and with authorised clasps recognising participation in key actions of the campaign.
