Thank you for visiting Empire Medals. Please find below information regarding order processing, delivery & opening hours in the run up to Christmas.
Order Cutoff (UK):
Orders for handmade items, engraved items, mounting, frames and medal cases placed on or before 24th November, we will endeavour to complete and despatch your order before Christmas. All order placed after this date will be allocated production slot for early January 2022. This includes all frames and cases - even those where you are mounting the items in the frame yourself.
PLEASE NOTE all of our frames and cases are handmade on-site to order. Cutoff for Christmas delivery for these is 24th November 2021.
Order Cutoff (Overseas):
Our last posting date for any order outside of mainland UK is 19th November 2021.
Christmas Opening Hours:
We will be closing for our Christmas break on Thursday 23rd December and will re-open at 9am Monday January 3rd 2022. Please feel free to place orders and email us in the meantime - emails will be answered on our return.
Please do bear in mind that most of our products and services are made, finished, engraved and/or mounted to order. This includes all medal frames and display cases. If you are placing an order that you require for Christmas, please do check that we are able to deliver in time BEFORE you complete the checkout process. Here's a bit more information......
Question: I have placed an order, I don't need it for Christmas but just wanted to find out how it's going?
Answer: We are currently despatching orders for mounted, framed and engraved orders in approx. 4 weeks. Please allow a little more time if your order includes items you have sent to us. We won't keep updating you on our progress - we would rather spend the time getting the work done!
Question: I have placed an order, I need it for Christmas. Will it arrive on time?
Answer: If your order was placed before Friday 24th November, we will endeavour to despatch to you before Christmas. You will receive a despatch confirmation email, your order should arrive by Royal Mail the following day. Unless you have requested and paid for a recorded service, your order will be sent for next day delivery but you will not be able to track it.
Question: I want to order something but I really need it for Christmas. Will I get it?
Answer: We are unable to deliver orders for Christmas if placed after 24th November.
Question: I want some medals mounted for Christmas. Do I have time?
Answer: We are unable to deliver orders for Christmas if placed after 24th November.
Question: I would like to order one of your frames to put medals in to. Will this be delivered in time for Christmas?
Answer: We are unable to deliver orders for Christmas if placed after 24th November.
Question: I would like to order one of your Medal Cases to hang my mounted medals in. Will this be delivered in time for Christmas?
Answer: We are unable to deliver orders for Christmas if placed after 24th November.
Other standard items such as ribbon & medal bars will be despatched within a few days where stock permits. As with everything else, IF YOUR ORDER IS TIME SENSITIVE, PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER and we will let you know.
