WW2 Medal Naming

As you may be aware, medals issued during World War Two were not issued named (engraved). In certain circumstances, those issued with the medals had them named privately. In addition, some commonwealth countries issued these medals named.

Following consultation and as a result of many requests, we are pleased to announce that we will now begin offering the service of naming World War Two full size Stars & Medals with immediate effect.

Stacked Ribbon Bars 0

Ribbon Brooch Bars available for all medals for wearing when the full-size or miniature medals is not required or appropriate. Chosen ribbons are mounted on to custom made brooches to display any number of ribbons. Current regulations vary slightly from service to service but generally they all state that ribbons would be mounted no more than four ribbons wide, there is no restriction on the number of rows of 4 you can have (although more than 8 ribbons in one group is reasonably rare). The order of wear for ribbon bars is as medal order of wear starting top left and working from left to right (as you look at the ribbons). You can browse and select from the individual ribbon bars listed below, alternatively, choose the number of ribbons you want mounted together from the following options and clearly state the required ribbons. We custom make your ribbon bar and if more than 4 ribbons is required, a custom made device is attached to the reverse to allow your ribbons to appear 'stacked'.
